Knowledge Central needed a productized workspace layer so operators could compose agents and see platform health without standing up another disconnected stack.
Task
Build the agentic SaaS substrate and status board as the vehicle for Knowledge Central, linked into the production platform already in use for NA retail IT.
Action
→Started the KCOS workspace substrate in August 2026 as a modular agent environment on the Knowledge Central control plane
→Added an operator status board in the same product so platform health and workspace state stay visible without a one-off dashboard
→Kept gateway, identity, wiki, and MCP tools as the shared platform — KCOS consumes them rather than replacing them
Results
✓Gave Knowledge Central a current product vehicle instead of a pile of sibling tools
✓Kept new workspace work attached to the existing enterprise platform and identity model
